Just around back of the Historic Chatham Mills is Pittsboro Bicycles. Owner Eddie Hatcher has more than a decade of experience in bike shops. He can help you with any and all of your questions if you’re in the market for a new bike. He knows all too well that choosing one can be a bit confusing, but promises to get you out on the open road in no time. In addition to selling bikes, Eddie can get your favorite two-wheeler operating smoothly if you find it running less than. While you’re in Pittsboro Bicycles, you can pick up a helmet, bike gear, and/or a very sweet Pittsboro Bicycles t-shirt.
Also, a corner of his shop is dedicated to skateboards. Some of the favored brands are: Shipyard Skates out of VA Beach, Powell-Peralta, Bacon, Earthwing, and Wounded Knee.
In addition to all this he also maintains “The Mill Trail” a wooded 5-mile path great for cycling or exercising your legs.
