Solstice Herb Farm is a family owned micro-farm located in Pittsboro. And while the farm may be still be in its infancy, it’s growing quickly! Specializing in medicinal and culinary herbs, fruits, and wild edibles, all products are family focused and child safe, and intended to be fully holistic. They also offer a retail line of handcrafted organic body care products. All of their items are GMO free, vegan, certified organic and/or ethically wild crafted, and sustainably produced.
Their mission is to cultivate an increased awareness of the healing powers of everyday plants, and foster a rebirth of our herbal heritage to aid us in the pursuit of our self-purpose and well-being. Their farm is spectacularly unique, it is a pollinators paradise! Painted tires and filing cabinet drawers are used for planters. Many of the items in the herb and vegetable gardens that assist in organization, like a bed frame, are recycled, up-cycled, or repurposed – nothing is wasted. The shed is made of window panes and provides a charming entryway for them to greet their fine-feathered friends.
