Celeste adores the comforts of living indoors, though from time to time she needs to be reminded about proper etiquette and expectations. She requires another dog to play with in her forever home and would probably not do well with cats. She knows her basic commands, is crate trained and loves daily walks or hikes. Celeste would do best in a home where her humans are not gone for long hours. She has been spayed and microchipped, and is currently on preventatives and vaccines.
To view Celeste’s webpage, visit chathamanimalrescue.org. The adoption fee for dogs up to age 6 ranges from $200-500, depending on such factors as breed, health, age and behavior. The adoption fee for senior dogs 7 years and older is $185.
Chatham Animal Rescue & Education is a nonprofit animal welfare organization that has served the community since 1975 and relies on individual and corporate donors for support. Its team promotes the health and safety of all dogs and cats in Chatham County. CARE foster caregivers provide loving, stable homes to homeless cats and dogs, helping them become the best possible pets for their future forever families. CARE works with the Chatham County Animal Shelter (currently open to the public by appointment only) to save the lives of unwanted cats and dogs, manage feral cat colonies and serve as an educational resource.
