Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival of Music & Dance

The 17th annual fall event returns with four full days of music, dancing and camping on the 72-acre farm, plus yoga, sound-healing classes and programs for kids and teens. Proceeds benefit the Shakori Hills Community Arts Center, which provides free or low-cost community programs in music, art and sustainability.

Chatham 250 Parade/Caravana

Siler City hosts a parade that welcomes all community members, businesses and organizations to participate in the culminating event for Chatham County’s 250th anniversary celebration. Judges will award prizes to the best floats or cars along the parade path.

Pittsboro Oktoberfest

The first annual Pittsboro Oktoberfest will feature eight local businesses, each with a themed drink special. Hosted by Pittsboro Pub Crawl, the event will showcase the unique collection of breweries, bars, distilleries and restaurants Pittsboro has to offer. This is a non-ticketed event, and guests can find the Oktoberfest map on the event website.
