Drawing upon the vibrant funk, R&B and jazz traditions of their native New Orleans, Galactic’s rowdy and celebratory live sets are full of improvisation and surprise, mixing instrumentals with songs led by vocalist Erica Falls. Mixing elements of hip-hop, rock and second-line brass bounce, their soulful Voodoo funk expresses different aspect of New Orleans’ culture .
