Chatham Community Library invites the public to enjoy Irish-Celtic music with the BogTurtle Band on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Holmes Family Meeting Room. This event is free and appropriate for music lovers of all ages.
BogTurtle is a family music group from central Virginia playing Irish folk-rock and traditional music, as well as, modern Celtic fusion featuring vocals, violin, tin whistle, guitar, bodhrán (Irish drum) and other percussion instruments. With a setlist of over 150 songs, they perform traditional Irish/Celtic and contemporary songs by groups such as The High Kings, Gaelic Storm, Dervish, Ed Sheeran, The Chieftains, The Dubliners and The Irish Rovers.
BogTurtle is a fun and high-energy group that keeps the audience clapping and singing along. They have entertained crowds at Irish pubs, restaurants/bars, breweries, wineries, festivals and private events throughout the mid-Atlantic region.
